What we store
We store your account email, password hash, free and paid usage totals, subscription status, billing identifiers, and successful or refunded conversion metadata such as word count, channel, provider response identifier, and timestamp. We do not store source text, rewritten text, writing samples, or uploaded files in the application database.
How rewriting works
Your source, optional direction, and optional voice samples pass through our server to contracted third-party AI infrastructure to create the rewrite. Requests are configured not to be stored for product reuse or training. Limited abuse-monitoring retention may still apply under the infrastructure provider’s policy.
Payments and security
A third-party payment processor hosts checkout and billing management. We store billing identifiers and subscription state, not card numbers. Webhook signatures are verified before billing access changes. Passwords and MCP tokens are stored as one-way digests.
Operational data
We process IP addresses and request metadata for security, fraud prevention, and rate limiting. Sensitive rewrite parameters are filtered from application logs. Infrastructure providers may retain ordinary access logs and backups for limited operational periods.
Your choices
You can cancel billing through the customer portal. To request account access or deletion, email support@claudewatermarkremoval.ai. Some billing and security records may be retained where legally or operationally required.
